We are hiring an Accounting & Reporting Specialist to oversee our financial accounting, regulatory compliance reporting, and external audit processes. Positioned at the core of our financial infrastructure, this role is critical to ensuring our financial operations comply with Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) regulations for Type 1 (Dealing in Securities) and Type 4 (Advising on Securities) licensed activities, as well as global accounting standards.

The ideal candidate brings a solid foundation from a Big 4 accounting firm combined with practical commercial experience in crypto, digital assets, or licensed brokerage environments.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Accounting & Group Reporting

Financial Management & Month-End Close: Lead the end-to-end month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closing processes in compliance with IFRS / HKFRS.
Audit Management: Manage primary operational relationships with external auditors (Big 4) to ensure timely and smooth annual audits and interim reviews.
Financial Controls: Design, implement, and maintain robust internal financial controls and accounting policies across group entities.

2. SFC Regulatory Reporting (FRR) & Compliance

FRR Preparation & Submission: Own the preparation and accuracy of monthly and quarterly Financial Resources Rules (FRR) returns and capital adequacy computations under SFC Type 1 and Type 4 licensing frameworks.
Liquid Capital Monitoring: Maintain continuous monitoring of liquid capital positions, excess liquid capital projections, and stress testing scenarios to ensure regulatory capital compliance.
Regulatory Inquiries & Ad-hoc Filings: Prepare financial documentation for regulatory inquiries, surveys, and license maintenance filings required by the SFC.

Key Requirements

6+ years of total professional accounting and financial reporting experience.
3–4 years of foundational experience in Big 4 audit or transaction advisory services is mandatory.
Direct experience within a Crypto / Digital Asset platform or a Licensed Securities Brokerage / Financial Institution.
Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in SFC Financial Resources Rules (FRR) preparation and liquid capital monitoring for SFC Licensed Entities (specifically Type 1 and Type 4 licenses).
Professional fluency in both Mandarin and Business English (spoken and written) is strictly required to navigate group reporting and regional communications.
Based in Hong Kong or open to working remotely/hybrid from Mainland China.

Preferred Qualifications

HKICPA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
Solid technical knowledge of IFRS / HKFRS accounting standards applicable to digital assets, financial instruments, and brokerages.
