JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible to perform accounting and finance function for incoming donation and process data in accordance with finance policies and procedures. Support Hong Kong accounting operations and financial reporting are delivered on time in full. Ensure effective accounting operation for all kinds of donation.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Handle incoming mails, data entry, proof-reading and filing.
Process incoming donations including collection, recording and reconciliations.
Prepare donation income report and ensure donation records are maintained properly and accurately.
Cross-check incoming transactions and reconciliation of accounts to identify unknown transactions, and keep supervisor informed for timely action.
Arrange payments to vendors by cheque or telegraphic transfer in compliance with policies and procedures.
Assist in accounting support, physical counting and other ad hoc projects as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Degree holder in Accounting or related disciplines
Experience in data entry, general administration or accounting support preferred
NGO experience would be an advantage

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

Knowledge in MS office applications.
Good in both verbal and written English and Chinese
Able to work independently, self-driven and strong sense of responsibility
Good team player with strong interpersonal and communications skills
Good time management and problem-solving skills
Able to work under pressure
Professional attitude and attention to detail
