Job Description
Position Summary
Lead technical application support for liquid cooling solutions across data centers, HPC, servers, storage, and telecom R&D/manufacturing. Act as the primary technical interface to customers, driving early-stage design‑in of Oetiker clamps, rings, and quick‑disconnect couplings. Partner with local Technical Sales to secure projects, ensure seamless integration, and build lasting customer trust through expert field guidance.
Essential Functions
- Partner with local Technical Sales team to drive Oetiker clamp spec‑in at customer R&D/engineering, winning early project opportunities.
- Perform pre‑sales technical consultation: understand liquid‑cooling system architectures (cold plates, CDUs, manifolds, tubing) and recommend suitable clamps, fittings, and couplings.
- Ensure proposals comply with Northeast Asian regulations (PSE, KC, JIS) and ASEAN country-specific standards (TIS, SNI, IMDA), while meeting FAT protocols required by Taiwanese ODMs for global CSPs.
- Support product validation testing (sealing, pressure, thermal cycling, corrosion, durability) and interpret results for customers.
- Provide on‑site installation guidance: torque control, press‑fit/ring‑compression connections, sealing, and leak testing.
- Deliver technical training to customers and internal staff; create and maintain application manuals, installation guides, and best‑practice documents.
- Act as the technical interface between customers and company engineering/manufacturing/quality teams; relay customer requirements and field feedback to drive product improvements.
- Explore new liquid‑cooling applications and potential product enhancements together with customers and sales colleagues to expand the project pipeline.
- Prepare monthly technical activity reports summarizing project status, customer visits, technical challenges, solutions provided, and upcoming opportunities.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with application management, product engineering, logistics, and customer service to ensure timely support delivery.
- Support local Technical Sales team in customer meetings with deep technical expertise, demos, and Q&A assistance.
- Perform other technical support tasks assigned by the line manager.

- Fluent English (written and spoken) required; capable of reading technical standards and communicating with global engineering teams.
- Proven track record of successful design‑in / spec‑in engagement with OEM/ODM customers, especially in the data center server or electronics cooling supply chain.
- Deep knowledge of the DCC supply chain, especially Taiwan-based server ODMs/OEMs (e.g., Foxconn, Quanta, Wistron, Inventec, Pegatron) and their SEA manufacturing footprints (Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia), plus familiarity with Japan telecom (NEC/Fujitsu) and Korea hyperscaler (Naver/Kakao/Samsung) cooling architectures.
- Analytical and structured approach to problem‑solving, with strong hands‑on troubleshooting skills.
- Proactive, self‑motivated, and open to creative technical solutions.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interface with engineers, sales, and customers at all levels.
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently for customer visits across Japan, Korea, and ASEAN countries and on‑site field support; valid driver’s license and good driving skills.
- Familiarity with CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo) and thermal simulation tools is a plus
- Culturally agile to manage Japan (formal/process), Korea (fast/decisive), and ASEAN (relationship/flexible); high EQ and conflict-resolution skills are a must.
- Serve as the regional technical bridge, coordinating sample shipments, test fixtures, and localized documentation between Taiwan engineering teams and customers across Japan/Korea/ASEAN, ensuring timely support across time zones (GMT+8 to GMT+9).
Education / Experience
- Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical/Engineering.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in technical support, field application, or R&D integration within the server/storage/liquid cooling industry. Direct prior experience working with Taiwanese ODM/EMS manufacturers (e.g., Quanta, Foxconn, Wistron) and supporting their regional customers in Japan/Korea/ASEAN is a significant advantage.
