At Ecomflow, we're redefining how ecommerce brands scale globally by bridging the gap between brands and the power of Chinese manufacturing and fulfillment. Our platform pairs deep operational expertise on the ground in China with software that makes cross-border logistics simple, fast, and cost-effective.

As we continue to scale, we're strengthening our finance function and looking for a hands-on Finance Manager to partner closely with the Financial Controller on the day-to-day financial operations of the business.

This is a highly operational role suited to someone with strong technical accounting fundamentals who thrives in the discipline of a structured, deadline-driven close process — similar in nature to an audit engagement, but applied on the client side, on an ongoing monthly cycle. Over time, the role will expand to include supporting statutory audits and Hong Kong tax filings.

What You'll Own

•Month-end close & reconciliations — own the close end-to-end, prepare journal entries/accruals/prepayments, and drive balance sheet reconciliations (bank, AR, AP, intercompany) with clean, audit-ready working papers

•Financial reporting — prepare monthly management accounts (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) with variance analysis, in line with HKFRS

•Accounts receivable & billing — own the full AR cycle: invoicing, collections, aging, customer reconciliations, and dispute resolution with Sales/Ops

•Growing scope — support statutory audits and Hong Kong tax filings as the role matures •Cross-functional support — ad hoc analysis, budgeting/forecasting inputs, bank/payment processor liaison, and finance process/ERP improvements

What Success Looks Like

•Month-end close consistently hits deadlines with an accurate, complete general ledger •Balance sheet reconciliations are clean, current, and audit-ready at all times

•AR aging is tightly managed, with overdue balances and disputes resolved quickly •Management reporting packs are accurate and delivered on schedule

•Close checklists, controls, and documentation keep improving over time

What We're Looking For

Must-Have Qualifications

•Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

•5+ years of relevant experience, with strong, demonstrated month-end close and financial reporting background

•Solid working knowledge of HKFRS and Hong Kong statutory/compliance requirements

•Strong hands-on experience with balance sheet reconciliations and AR management •Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, reconciliation modeling) and experience with an accounting/ERP system (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, or similar)

•Strong communication skills in English and Mandarin

Ideal Personality Type

•High attention to detail with a methodical, well-documented approach

•Self-starter who can independently own the close calendar and manage competing deadlines •Comfortable in a fast-paced, growing business where processes are still being refined •Flexible, can work well with Operations, Sales, auditors, tax advisors, and banking partners

Additional Qualifications

•Experience using Xero accounting/reporting software is advantageous but not a must-have •Familiarity with Billr's capabilities is a bonus

•Exposure to pricing, costing, or profitability analysis in a logistics/e-commerce environment is a plus

Preferred Qualifications Nice-To-Haves

•CPA (HKICPA) qualification, or actively pursuing one

•Prior external audit experience (Big 4 or mid-tier) — a strong plus given the reconciliation- and controls-heavy nature of the role

•Experience with Hong Kong Profits Tax filings and/or statutory audit exposure from the preparer side

•Experience in logistics, e-commerce, or a fast-growth SME environment
