The Regional Senior Manager / Manager, Human Resources - North Asia will serve as a strategic HR Business Partner supporting the North Asia region across the full spectrum of Human Resources functions, including talent acquisition, compensation & benefits, performance management, employee relations, employee engagement, talent development, organizational effectiveness, and HR operations.

The incumbent will collaborate closely with regional and country leadership teams to ensure effective execution of HR strategies, drive employee engagement, support business growth, and maintain compliance with local labor regulations across multiple jurisdictions. Similar responsibilities are described in existing North Asia HR leadership roles.

Key Responsibilities

HR Business Partnering

Partner with regional and country management teams on workforce planning, organization design and talent strategies.
Provide professional HR advisory services to support business performance and operational excellence.
Support leadership teams in managing employee relations, performance management and organizational effectiveness initiatives.
Act as a trusted advisor to managers on people-related matters.

Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

Work closely with Talent Acquisition teams to support regional hiring strategies and manpower planning.
Ensure timely and quality hiring across North Asia markets.
Drive succession planning and talent pipeline initiatives for critical positions.
Support employer branding and talent attraction initiatives across the region.

Compensation & Benefits

Partner with Global Total Rewards and country HR teams on salary benchmarking, annual salary review and incentive programs.
Provide HR analytics and recommendations to maintain market competitiveness.
Support budgeting and headcount planning exercises.

Employee Engagement & Development

Drive employee engagement, retention and culture-building initiatives.
Support leadership development and talent management programs.
Partner with Learning & Development teams to identify capability gaps and implement development solutions.
Promote a high-performance and inclusive work culture.

HR Operations & Compliance

Ensure compliance with employment laws and HR policies across North Asia markets.
Monitor regulatory changes and recommend policy updates where required.
Support implementation of global HR policies, systems and transformation initiatives.
Review and continuously improve HR processes, controls and service delivery standards.

Projects & Transformation

Participate in regional and global HR transformation projects.
Support implementation of HR technologies, automation and process improvements.
Lead or contribute to cross-functional HR projects as assigned.

Requirements

Education

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or related disciplines.

Experience

Manager Level

Minimum 8 years of progressive Human Resources experience.
Experience partnering with business leaders in a multi-site or regional environment.
Strong exposure across multiple HR disciplines.

Senior Manager Level

Minimum 12 years of HR experience with proven regional responsibilities.
Strong HR Business Partnering experience supporting senior stakeholders.
Demonstrated success leading regional HR initiatives and driving organizational change.

Knowledge & Skills

Solid understanding of employment practices and labor regulations across North Asia.
Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Ability to work effectively within a multicultural and matrix organization.
Highly self-motivated, adaptable and results-oriented.
Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office applications.
