Main Duties:
- Prepare Group’s monthly consolidated financial statements and financial analysis within the timelines.
- Improve the reporting timeline of monthly consolidation of financial statements and reports.
- Work out and follow strictly the action plan for interim review and annual audit and coordinate with internal and external parties to ensure the plan to be achieved.
- Perform analytical review on subsidiaries’ financial reports to ensure accuracy.
- Perform month-end closing of investment companies.
- Assist in preparing financial statements of investment companies.
- Assist to improve the Group consolidation system by streamlining the reporting packages.
- Assist in preparing Group’s accounting policies and financial control procedures.
- Follow up ad hoc assignment.
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree or above in Accounting or related discipline.
- Qualified Accountant, member of ACCA, HKICPA or equivalent.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in accounting and finance functions.
- Solid experience in group consolidation for sizable corporation.
- Previous experience in big four accounting firm.
- Experience in system application, experience in automation of the consolidation system (e.g. SAP) would be an asset.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards and taxation in Hong Kong.
- Able to work under pressure as well as work as a team.
- Self driven and possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Presentable, good analytical mind, mature, able to work under pressure to meet the tight reporting deadline.
- Excellent proficiency in Word, Excel, Visual Basic and PowerPoint.
- Good analytical skill with commercial sense.
- Fluent English and Chinese (Spoken and Written).
