Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Vice President, Transformation & Change Management to drive business transformation initiatives across the organization. This role serves as a strategic partner to business functions, helping stakeholders optimize operating models, streamline processes, enhance technology capabilities, and improve overall business effectiveness.

The successful candidate will act as the bridge between business and technology, leading change initiatives that improve operational efficiency, strengthen governance, and support the company's strategic growth objectives. In particular, this incumbent is responsible for planning, monitoring and managing internal projects from initiation through completion, securing required resources and using formal processes and tools to manage resources, budgets, risks and changes to ensure on-time completion according to specifications and within budgeted costs. The role requires a combination of business management, process improvement, technology transformation, project management, and stakeholder engagement expertise within the insurance or reinsurance industry.

Job Responsibilities:

Business Transformation & Change Management

Partner with business leaders to identify opportunities for operational improvement, process optimization, and digital transformation.
Lead end-to-end change management initiatives, ensuring successful adoption of new processes, systems, and operating models.
Develop and execute transformation roadmaps aligned with business priorities and strategic objectives.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across underwriting, claims, finance, risk, actuarial, operations, and corporate functions.
Facilitate workshops and stakeholder discussions to assess current-state processes and define future-state operating models.

Technology Strategy & Business Enablement

Act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders on technology solutions and digital innovation opportunities.
Assess business requirements and translate them into technology and system enhancement initiatives.
Partner with IT teams and external vendors to deliver technology solutions that improve business performance and user experience.
Support system implementation, automation, workflow digitization, and process orchestration initiatives.
Evaluate emerging technologies, including AI, analytics, automation, and digital platforms, to support organizational efficiency and competitiveness.

Process Excellence & Operational Efficiency

Review and redesign business processes to improve productivity, reduce operational risk, and enhance customer and stakeholder experience.
Establish process governance, documentation standards, and performance measurement frameworks.
Identify automation opportunities and promote best practices in process management and operational excellence.
Drive standardization and simplification across cross-functional business activities.
Monitor and report on transformation benefits, productivity gains, and operational KPIs.

Project & Portfolio Management

Lead strategic projects and enterprise-wide initiatives from planning through implementation.
Establish project governance frameworks, milestones, budgets, and success metrics.
Coordinate cross-functional teams and manage competing priorities effectively.
Provide regular project updates and executive reporting to senior management and steering committees.
Identify project risks, dependencies, and mitigation plans to ensure successful delivery.

Business Management & Governance

Support business leaders in strategic planning, resource prioritization, and execution of key initiatives.
Develop management reporting, dashboards, and business performance analytics.
Drive governance, communication, and stakeholder engagement across transformation programs.
Ensure alignment with regulatory requirements, risk management standards, and internal policies.
Promote a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement across the organization.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering, Finance, or related discipline.
Minimum 12 years of experience in business transformation, cost planning, operational excellence, consulting, project management, or change management.
Experience within the (re)insurance sectors is strongly preferred.
Demonstrated track record of leading complex cross-functional transformation initiatives.
Experience with change management frameworks and stakeholder engagement strategies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to translate business needs into practical solutions.
Excellent presentation, facilitation, and executive communication skills.
Ability to influence and manage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
