Junior Execution Support Engineer

Global Hedge Fund | Hong Kong

I'm partnering with a fast-growing global multi-strategy hedge fund that's continuing to invest heavily across its Hong Kong technology platform. They're looking to hire a Junior Execution Support Engineer to join their front-office Trading Technology team, supporting critical electronic trading systems used by traders across the business.

The Role: You'll provide production support for mission-critical electronic trading applications, working closely with trading, development and infrastructure teams to ensure the firm's execution platform operates reliably throughout the trading day.

What they need:

1-5 years' experience in Application Support or a similar technical support role.
Strong Linux/Unix fundamentals.
Experience with SQL and scripting using Python, Bash or similar.
Excellent troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills and the confidence to work closely with both engineers and business users.
An interest in financial markets or electronic trading would be advantageous, but prior buy-side experience isn't essential.
