Job Description
As a Compliance professional, your main responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring compliance with the SFC regulator
- Developing and implementing compliance policies and procedures to mitigate risks effectively.
- Conducting regular compliance audits and preparing detailed reports for management.
- Monitoring and assessing the effectiveness of internal controls within the banking and financial services department.
- Providing training and guidance to staff on compliance-related matters.
- Conduct AML/KYC checks
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to address compliance issues.
- Keeping up-to-date with changes in laws and regulations impacting the financial services industry.
- Supporting the implementation of new compliance systems and tools.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Compliance professional should have:
- 8+ years of compliance experience from buyside firm
- bachelor degree
- experience working in chinese firm
- prefer is have experience with SFC onsite examinations
- must be able to work independently
- must be able to read and write chinese and speak mandarin
