Responsibilities

Manage the day-to-day operations, implementation, optimization, and troubleshooting of the company’s cloud and system infrastructure across multi-hybrid environments, including AWS, Azure, and private cloud platforms
Handle the lifecycle of compute, storage, operating systems, and platform services in public cloud environments to ensure high availability, performance, scalability, and security
Manage virtualization and hypervisor stack environments, including operating system provisioning, patching, configuration, and performance tuning
Implement and maintain backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies to protect data integrity and ensure business continuity
Perform capacity planning, performance monitoring, and resource optimization to support current workloads
Support observability for cloud and systems platforms through logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions, working closely with the broader infrastructure observability framework
Troubleshoot complex cloud, system OS, and virtualization issues, collaborating with network and database teams
Maintain accurate documentation, including architecture diagrams, configuration standards, runbooks, and operational procedures
Work with cloud vendors and service providers for project delivery and ongoing support
Participate in ITIL-based change management, incident response, and problem management processes

Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience. With minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in cloud and systems engineering roles within hybrid cloud environments
Solid experience in system OS administration (Windows and Linux) at enterprise scale
Good experience managing virtualization and hypervisor stack environments
Practical experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), including compute, storage, and platform services
Experience in implementing backup and disaster recovery solutions.
Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell) for operational tasks and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and observability tools
Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner / Solutions Architect – Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, or equivalent) are a plus
Ability to prioritize and self-manage multiple operational tasks and projects against agreed deadlines
Understanding of the ITIL Framework and formal Change Management processes
Good command of oral and written communication skills in English, Chinese, and Mandarin
