Role Summary

The role focuses on developing new business, managing key project accounts, leading a sales project team of 4 members, and coordinating internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful completion of lighting projects across commercial, industrial, and public sectors.
Manage the full project cycle, including tender pitching, contract follow-up, and hands-on project management until completion.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and expand the client base in local lighting projects, actively generating new sales leads and project opportunities.
Manage the full project cycle, including tender pitching, contract follow-up, and hands-on project management until completion.
Achieve annual sales targets while building and maintaining a portfolio of high-quality, long-term client relationships.
Lead, manage, and supervise a sales project team of 4 members in daily operations and site activities to ensure smooth execution.
Handle technical enquiries from internal teams and external customers, providing appropriate product and solution recommendations.
Identify and recommend new products or product lines to meet the needs of different customer segments and project requirements.
Coordinate with factories and suppliers to ensure products comply with customer specifications and project standards.

Ideal Candidates

Degree holder or above preferably in Electronic, Engineering, Mechanical, Business, or related disciplines.
Minimum 5 years of solid project management experience in the lighting industry; experience in lighting projects is essential and mandatory.
Strong network within the local lighting industry, including product vendors and key clients, will be a significant advantage.
Good working relationships with local civil or public departments are preferred.
Proven track record in managing lighting projects for government or public tenders, chain-store renovations, or similar large-scale projects.
Strong knowledge in sales lead generation, project planning, budgeting, and project cost control.
