Role Summary

Bowtie’s mission is to make insurance good again and our vision is to build a category-defining health insurance company.

We are looking for interns to join us throughout the year - as a Bowtie intern, you will be treated and work like the rest of the team (no fetching coffee duties), and gain experience in substantive marketing or growth projects.

About The Role

You will be working closely with us to gain some hands-on experience and deliver some projects/campaigns to pave the way for your career in accounting and finance:

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the accounting and finance team with day-to-day tasks, including data entry, account reconciliation, petty cash handling, policy management system updates, and invoice processing
Support the preparation of financial statements, management reports, and presentations
Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis
Participate in month-end and year-end closing processes
Assist with the management of accounts payable and receivable
Assist with ad hoc projects and tasks as assigned by the accounting and finance team

Internship Duration:

Part-time: At least 3 days per week

About You

You are/have:

Currently pursuing a degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Attention to detail and accuracy in all work
