Officer, Customer Due Diligence(A28893)

Responsibilities:

Perform customer due diligence review on Client Onboarding, Periodic Review and Trigger Event to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal policy requirements.
Conduct risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential money laundering, fraud, and other financial crime risk.
Collaborate closely with Relationship Managers to obtain necessary customer information, clarify due diligence requirements, and address any CDD-related queries.
Perform in-depth investigations and enhanced due diligence on high-risk customers, such as politically exposed persons (PEPs) and customers from high-risk jurisdictions. This includes gathering additional information, conducting negative news searches, and assessing the source of wealth and funds.
Investigate and resolve any suspicious activities or red flags identified during customer due diligence.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of all customer due diligence activities for audit trail purpose.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration or a related field.
At least 2-3 years of relevant experience in customer due diligence or anti-money laundering compliance.
Knowledge of regulations and industry standards related to customer due diligence.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify and evaluate potential risks.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact with customers, team members, and regulatory agencies as necessary.
Fluency in both English and Chinese.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Highly motivated and committed to achieving regulatory compliance and organizational objectives.
