Salary: HK$36,850 per month
Entry Requirements:Candidates should have :
(a) a bachelor degree in design, media design, creative media, digital media, visual communication from a university in Hong Kong, or equivalent;
(b) met the language proficiency requirements of Level 2 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent [Note (1)];
(c) a minimum of 3 years’ full-time post-qualification working experience in the fields of multimedia, graphic, digital content design or media design/production, [Note (2)]. Relevant working experience in public sector will be an advantage; and
(d) good knowledge and skills in Adobe Creative Cloud applications in website / graphics / media design and video editing (such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro and After Effects, as well as AI design tools) and other relevant multimedia tools.
Note: (1) For appointment purpose, ‘Grade E’ in Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B) in the HKCEE before 2007 is accepted administratively as comparable to ‘Level 2’ in Chinese Language and English Language in the 2007 HKCEE and henceforth.

Duties: (a) To plan, design and produce comprehensive multimedia and graphic materials (including posters, souvenirs, web designs, videos, 2D/3D animations, motion graphics, visual effects and infographics) for campaign production and promotion across publications, websites, social media and events;
(b) To develop creative concepts from briefing to final output, ensuring consistency with corporate identity and communication objectives;
(c) To execute and oversee photo/video shooting, editing and asset management;
(d) To liaise with internal units and external service providers on design and production matters, and monitor progress and quality;
(e) To provide professional advice on visual design, user experience and digital presentation for various publicity and communication projects;
(f) To manage design timelines and workflows for the projects and ad-hoc tasks from concept to completion; and
(g) To assist in other office duties as instructed by the supervising officer(s).
Note: Appointee may be required to work outside normal office hours.
Terms of Appointment:Successful candidate will be appointed on non-civil service contract terms for 12 months. Renewal of contract will be subject to the service need of the recruiting department and performance of the appointee.
Fringe Benefits12 days of annual leave per annum and the eligibility for the rest days, statutory holidays (or substitute holidays), maternity leave, paternity leave, sickness allowance, where appropriate, will be granted in line with those provided for under the Employment Ordinance.
Upon satisfactory completion of the full contract period with consistently high standard of performance and conduct, the appointee will be granted a gratuity for the period of service. Such gratuity, plus any contribution by the Government to a Mandatory Provident Fund (MPF) scheme in respect of the appointee required by the MPF Schemes Ordinance, will equal to 15% of the total basic salary drawn during the contract period.

General Notes:
