Summary

As an AI Data Project Specialist (One-Year Contract), you will be responsible for data labelling, quality checking, summarizing and communicating data findings, client communication, and supporting the Data Manager in delivering data projects that are essential to our AI products and customer success. You will work in an energetic team and manage part-time or vendors for project delivery. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, responsible, and capable of working independently at the client’s site.

Contract Term

This is a one-year contract position from 15 June 2026 to 14 June 2027. The exact start and end dates may be adjusted within a reasonable range, subject to mutual agreement.

Responsibilities

As a Supervisor of 1-3 Data Labellers:

1. Work independently at the client’s site in a supervisory and task management capacity for data labelling and quality checking, ensuring that data meets the target accuracy rate and project timeline.

2. Train part-time teams on data labelling guidelines and the use of data labelling tools.

3. Communicate with clients on behalf of the data project team.

4. Summarize and share findings from work conducted at the client site with the Data Team and Research Team to help improve our AI products.

As a Data Labeller and Checker:

1. Conduct hands-on data labelling and quality checking to ensure that labelled data meets the target accuracy rate.

As a Data Project Assistant:

1. Assist the Data Manager in recruiting part-time or sourcing vendors for data labelling, data creation, and data sourcing projects.

2. Assist the Data Manager in delivering data labelling, data creation, and data sourcing projects with high quality, on time, and within budget.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree or above.

2. Native Cantonese speaker, with good command of written and spoken Cantonese, English, and Mandarin.

3. At least 1 year of work experience, preferably in the technology industry and ideally with companies that provide data sourcing or data annotation services for speech recognition technologies.

4. Willingness to work at the client’s site as needed (estimated at 30% or more of time at the client’s site across a year).

5. Good communication skills.

6. Quick learner, open to new concepts and technologies, and willing to learn.

7. Self-motivated and willing to take on new responsibilities with a growth mindset.

8. Detail-oriented.

9. Able to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
