Account Receivable Officer - You will be responsible for managing the company’s receivable processes, including invoicing, monitoring outstanding payments, and ensuring accurate financial records. This is a 6 months contract position for maternity leave.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the accuracy of financial transactions related to accounts receivable to maintain proper and up-to-date records.
- Verify the completeness of customer documentation to support invoicing and payment processes.
- Process and issue invoices, debit memos, and credit memos in accordance with company SOPs.
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding receivables to ensure timely collection from customers.
- Prepare periodic accounts receivable reports for financial tracking and analysis.
- Coordinate with internal teams and customers to resolve billing discrepancies.
- Support other finance-related tasks as required to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Has experience in Finance, Accounting, or Accounts Receivable.
- Strong understanding of accounts receivable processes and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting systems
- Experience in invoice processing and reconciliation.
- Ability to perform data analysis and reporting.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and negotiation abilities.
- Effective time management and ability to meet deadlines.
