Full-Stack Product Engineer (Early-Stage Startup)
About The Role
We’re hiring one of our first engineers to take full ownership of a core product — a recruiter-facing dashboard used as a CRM to manage roles, candidates, pipelines, and payouts.
This is a highly product-focused role. You’ll work directly with the founder, interact closely with users (recruiters), and play a key role in shaping both
what we build and how we build it.
If you enjoy solving real user problems, iterating quickly, and owning systems end-to-end, this role is a strong fit.
What You’ll Do
Core Product (Primary Focus)
- Design and build end-to-end product features for the recruiter dashboard
- Improve existing user flows to reduce friction and enhance usability
- Translate real user workflows into intuitive product experiences
- Redesign key features such as candidate submissions, role discovery, and pipeline tracking
- Build tools that make recruiters significantly more efficient in managing their work
Product & UX Collaboration
- Work closely with the founder and team to define product direction
- Engage directly with users to understand needs and gather feedback
- Collaborate with design to deliver polished, high-quality experiences
- Focus on detail and usability to ensure the product feels fast and intuitive
Full-Stack Development
- Own development across frontend and backend systems
- Build and maintain scalable, reliable application architecture
- Rapidly iterate on features based on feedback and usage data
Growth & Product Quality
- Contribute to initiatives across signup, activation, engagement, and retention
- Build features such as dashboards, incentives, and engagement tools
- Maintain high standards for performance, reliability, and product quality
Required
What We’re Looking For
- 4+ years of experience in full-stack software development
- Strong experience building products end-to-end (frontend + backend)
- Proficiency in modern web technologies (e.g., JavaScript/TypeScript, React, APIs)
- A strong product mindset — you care about users, not just code
- Ability to work in fast-paced, early-stage environments with minimal structure
- High attention to detail in product design and user experience
Preferred
- Experience working in early-stage or high-growth startups
- Experience building dashboards, CRMs, or internal tools
- Familiarity with user workflows in recruiting or similar domains
- Experience contributing to product decisions, not just execution
Why Join
- Work directly with the founder and have real ownership from day one
- Build a core product used daily by real users
- High impact role with strong growth potential as the company scales
- Opportunity to shape product direction, not just implement features
Role Breakdown
- 70% Core product development (dashboard, UX, feature iteration)
- 20% Internal tools and supporting features
- 10% Growth-focused engineering (activation, retention, billing)
