The Associate Engineer will support senior engineering staff in the design, analysis, and development of boiler components and systems. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and development of boiler pressure parts using CAD and engineering software
- Support the review and interpretation of engineering drawings and specifications
- Conduct technical analysis and testing to ensure components meet quality and safety standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing and quality assurance to resolve engineering issues
- Participate in project planning and documentation activities
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to optimize engineering processes and product quality
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, codes, and regulations related to boiler components
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related engineering discipline
- 0-2 years of engineering experience, preferably in manufacturing or power generation industries
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
