The Hong Kong Jockey Club

Founded in 1884, The Hong Kong Jockey Club (“the Club”) is a world-class racing club that acts continuously for the betterment of our society. The Club has a unique integrated business model, comprising racing and racecourse entertainment, a membership club, responsible sports wagering and lottery, and charities and community contribution. Through this model, the Club generates economic and social value for the community and supports the HKSAR Government in combatting illegal gambling.

The Division

The Charities and Community (C&C) Division manages strategic planning, grant donations, impactful project initiation, community engagement, and the day-to-day operations of the HKJC Charities Trust. C&C works with the Government, NGOs, and community partners to proactively identify root causes of social issues and address them through innovative approaches and cross-sectoral collaboration.

The Department

This team supports payment-related requests of approved donation projects funded by the Trust and to facilitate effective and timely liaison between grantees and the Trust to support project progress monitoring including service visits and funding disbursement matters. The role also assists superiors in updating donation data and projects' record keeping.

The Job

Provide clerical/ administration support to Charities projects’ payment services.
Conduct data entry, filing and other administrative work.
Support any other work as assigned by supervisors.

About You

Relevant experience in accounting, auditing or payment vetting. Experience in NGOs and/or social service sector would be an advantage,
Good computer literacy in using Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Good interpersonal and teamwork skills

Working Time/Location

Working Time: Monday - Friday (at least two days per week)
Location: Happy Valley
