Role Purpose:

As a Procurement Officer, you will be responsible for supervising material replenishment to ensure on-time delivery and the highest product quality, maintaining effective communication and strong relationships with suppliers to achieve optimal business outcomes, and supporting sourcing activities by managing supplier contracts — including negotiation, renewal, and compliance — to drive cost efficiency and support business objectives.

A typical day in the Role:

Responsible for procurement duties, including global sourcing, quotation analysis and evaluation, contract and supply chain management, replenishment planning, purchase requisitions, purchase orders, PO payment arrangement, drive OEM project launch and supplier management process
Monitor the quality of commodities, raw materials and packaging materials, handle daily supply chain inquiries and report problems or claims to relevant parties
Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders, understand their requirements and ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods
Assist in managing documentation and maintaining good record trail of transactions
Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing and other important data
Increase efficiency and reduce costs
Assist in ad hoc duties as required by supervisor

Success will depend on:

Degree or Diploma in business or related disciplines
Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in procurement, merchandising or supply chain, preferably in FMCG industry
Experience in demand planning and supply planning support is essential
Product development and project management experience is an added advantage
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software (Excel & PowerPoint)
Experience and knowledge in ERP system is an advantage, preferably Oracle
Good negotiation, problem-solving, time management, interpersonal and communication skills
Good team player, self-motivated and proactive
Good command of written and spoken Cantonese, Mandarin and English
Occasional business travel may be required
