How you will make an impact:
A Deputy General Manager - Design shall be a designer and a manager in the Design Team, to produce designs particularly related to interior design for residential projects and asset enhancement projects. He/she shall play the role of a Project Design Manager as assigned by the Project Director or the Deputy Project Director to manage the design process for the projects for which design consultants are appointed. He/she shall ensure the design quality of projects being assigned, alignment with the internal business units concerned, and report to the Project Director or the Deputy Project Director regularly.
- Be responsible for designing and supervising the Design Team to produce designs, including but not limited to interior designs for any items, mockups and show flats related to residential developments, interior and façade designs for any asset enhancement projects.
- Be responsible for design implementation and quality assurance, including coordination with any design consultants.
- Be responsible for producing the necessary drawings and 3D renderings for communicating with other internal business units and senior management.
- Be responsible for producing the necessary tender drawings for the design items described above.
- Be responsible for monitoring overall design and design implementation in good quality with due diligence and accuracy in a professional manner.
- Coordinate closely with the Project Management and Construction Management Teams to ensure all design implementations are inspected and recorded properly.
- Coordinate closely with the Contract Team for the cost-effectiveness of design implementations.
- To liaise with other internal business units such as Sales and Marketing, Leasing, Corporate Communication, etc., for the design items being assigned.
What we are looking for:
- Degree or above in Interior Design/ Architecture or related design disciplines
- Minimum 20 years working experience in interior design/ architect firms and/ or 15 years of working experience with developers
- AutoCAD / 3DStudio Max (or similar 3D modeler)/ Photoshop / Microsoft Office
- Good and innovative design sense
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Good command of English and Chinese
