Opportunity to work in a dynamic logistics environment.

We are seeking a detail-oriented IT Desktop Support Engineer (Secondment) to join our client IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality technical support to internal staff, ensuring the smooth operation of all IT equipment and services. This role requires adherence to ITIL standards and a commitment to meeting Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Key Responsibilities:

Provide on-site technical support to staff for hardware, software, and networking issues.
Install, configure, and troubleshoot computer hardware, software, and peripheral devices.
Set up and configure new workstations and mobile devices.
Assist in maintaining and troubleshooting network connectivity (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
Collaborate with the IT team to resolve IT-related problems following ITIL standards.
Assist in the implementation and maintenance of IT security measures.
Maintain accurate records of hardware and software inventory.
Document and update technical procedures and user guides.
Provide training to staff on basic IT procedures.
Adhere to SLAs on ticket resolution, providing timely and accurate updates.

Requirements:

Higher Diploma or Associate Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
Minimum 1-3 years of relevant experience in desktop support or a similar role.
Solid experience in Windows OS and Microsoft 365 support.
Basic knowledge of networking concepts and troubleshooting.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese).
Holder of ITIL Foundation certification is an advantage.
