FINANCE & ACCOUNTING MANAGER (35K-40K X 13) - trading industrial bulk commodities Asia market (Kwun Tong)

Role Summary :

You will oversee our accounting and finance functions in Hong Kong, China and Asian offices.
The incumbent will lead, coach, and manage a small team, take responsibility for financial reporting, treasury management, and group consolidation, and support the company’s regional growth strategy.

Responsibilities :

Lead, coach and manage an accounting team of 2–3 members in Hong Kong office to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
Oversee the full set of accounts for the Hong Kong trading office and review financial reports prepared by teams in China and Asian countries.
Manage month‑end closing, cash flow forecasting, and group consolidation across multiple entities.
Handle treasury functions, including daily cash management, bank reconciliation, fund transfers, and liquidity planning.
Liaise and negotiate with banks on banking and credit facilities.
Prepare management reports and financial analyses to support business decisions and investments.
Coordinate and manage annual audits for all offices within the region.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and group policies.

Ideal Candidates :

Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
8–10 years of solid accounting and finance experience; background in a trading or import/export environment is highly preferred.
Proven ability to lead and develop a small accounting team.
Regional exposure and experience in handling accounts across multiple locations are highly preferred.
Experience in multi‑currency accounting and reporting is a strong advantage.
Proficient in English and Chinese (both written and spoken); Mandarin is an advantage.
Strong in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems is an advantage.
Exposure to industrial bulk commodities is an advantage
Hands‑on, detail‑minded, and able to work independently.
Report directly to the Director.
