Overview

Join our innovative R&D team as a Research Assistant / Research Associate and help shape the future of non-invasive diagnostics for cancer and infectious diseases. In this role, you will contribute to the development of in vitro diagnostic products focused on non-invasive detection of cancer and infectious diseases. Role & Responsibilities:

Precise execution of experiments to drive the development of innovative diagnostic products.
Provide tactical insights and carefully design experiments to support innovative product development.
Execute experiments including NGS workflows, target enrichment, nucleic acid extraction, library preparation and sequencing.
Provide technical support and support assay development for target enrichment sequencing.
Search and review scientific literature to identify innovative methods and techniques for practical application.
Report results and progress to the team leader with precision, ensuring clear and accurate communication.
Write and/or support preparation of technical reports, presentations, SOPs and documents.
Maintain meticulous records, manage inventory, and ensure high-quality documentation to support groundbreaking discoveries.
Assist purchasing and inventory management to keep our lab running at peak performance.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree with 4-5 years of experience/Master’s degree with 1-3 years of laboratory experience in academic life sciences or a biotechnology company.
Experience in NGS workflows and targeted enrichment sequencing.
Experience in assay development of target enrichment is preferred.
Experience in NGS analysis and GATK pipeline is preferred.
A quick learner with exceptional attention to detail, capable of executing complex protocols with utmost accuracy and care.
Self-motivated with a careful approach to taking initiative and delivering high-quality results.
Passionate about collaborating in a positive, team-driven culture while maintaining high standards of work.
Eager to embrace constructive feedback and mentorship to refine your skills and grow professionally.
