Reporting to the Senior Director (SD) of the eMPF Platform Company Limited (Company), the Director of Digital & Information Technology will play a key part in the leadership team of the Company responsible for the successful delivery and implementation of the eMPF Platform project (Project). The appointee will be overseeing specifically project and programme management, contractor quality management, as well as the continuous enhancement of the eMPF Platform (Platform) including any additional applications and architecture associated with the Platform.

Key Accountabilities

Monitor the deliverables of the Core Contractor of the Platform to ensure on-time and quality delivery;
Oversee all the technical aspects on formulating and implementing strategies for technology advancement of the Platform;
Oversee project management, data management, cyber security, dashboard system and quality management aspects on reviews, formulation and implementing strategies and approach for advancement of the Platform;
Ensure proper handling of IT incidents reported by the Core Contractor;
Oversee the Core Contractor’s works on system improvement / enhancement;
Promote collaboration between MPF trustees, industry players and the Core Contractor for the implementation and operation of the Platform; and
Perform any other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualification

Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related disciplines;
Minimum 15 years of relevant project management experience on handling business services projects with significant technology components, preferably in financial services and/or public sector;
Large scale IT/digital transformation project and digital service delivery experience;
A good track record in managing various stakeholders (including Government officials), vendors and outsourced service providers;
Sound knowledge of the operation of MPF System;
An intimate knowledge of the Project;
Excellent communication skills and strong problem solving skills; and
Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese).

Remuneration Package

A competitive remuneration and benefits package including a discretionary performance-linked variable pay, annual leave, medical, dental and life insurance coverage, and MPF will be offered. The appointment will be made on a three-year fixed-term contract initially prior to consideration for appointment on a non-fixed-term basis.
