How you will make an impact:
- To carried out the maintenance and operation issues
- To supervise and give guidance to subordinates at site on technical and work safety issues
- To administer and monitor the smooth operation of the maintenance department and the smooth handover of new buildings facilities
- To prepare preventive maintenance schedules and ensure it to be carried out properly
- To propose and prepare scope of work necessary improvement/ modification works to existing M/E plants and builders work for better efficiencies and compliance with the latest regulations
- To assist management office to liaise with other company staff on technical issues/ Utilities companies/ M/E Consultants and Architects/ Government Department/ Contractors/Tenants and building users
- To handle emergencies due to breakdown of essential building services and flooding etc.
- To monitor and control the annual budget / expenditure relate to the maintenance issues
- To execute the routine / random checks on the building maintenance and ensure to meet the company standard
- To monitor and propose on saving in electricity and water usage
- To carry out special assignments from time to time on technical by Senior Staff as required
What we are looking for:
Qualifications:
- Holder of a Bachelor Degree or above in Building Surveying / Building Studies / Structural, Building Services, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or other related disciplines
- A practicing member of one of the following professional institutions preferred : HKIS / RICS / HKIA / RIBA / HKIE (Structural, Building Services, Electrical & Mechanical Disciplines) / CIBSE / IEE / IMechE/ IStructE
- A Holder of a Registered Electrical Worker Certificate Grade B or above is preferred
Experience and skills:
- Expertise in Fire Service System, Central Air-Conditioning System, Plumbing & Drainage System and E&M maintenance works
- Relevant experience in managing building improvement, alteration, addition and renovation projects
- Minimum 15 years relevant experience in building services/maintenance and E&M with 5 years at supervisory level
- Independent, self-motivated, analytical, well-organized & able to work under pressure
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese
- Practical knowledge on various Type of Chiller Plant System is a definite advantage
- Applicants with less experience would be considered as Assistant Technical Manager
