Our client is currently hiring a Deputy Director of Media and Publication for their organization. This is a leadership position that will be very hands-on in leading a fast-paced team.

Description

The main responsibilities for the Deputy Director will include:

Developing and implementing comprehensive media and publication strategies to align with organizational goals.
Provide strategic counsel on executive communications to President and senior management, including speechwriting, media engagement, thought leadership, and crisis response.
Cultivate and strengthen relationships with key media outlets and journalists to amplify the organization's visibility and ensure active coverage.
Overseeing the production and distribution of key publications to ensure accuracy and brand consistency.
Ensuring compliance with industry standards and organizational policies in all communications.

Profile

A successful Deputy Director should have:

A degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
With at least 12 years of proven expertise in media planning, publication management, and strong writing abilities.
Must have strong people management experience, with great organizational skills and the ability to manage high volume and ad hoc projects effectively.
Experience in driving change and working in a very fast paced environment. Must have a results-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality outputs.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Must have excellent command in English and Chinese speaking and writing.
