We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position(s) in the LiPACE:

Part-time Instructor (LiPACE) (Ref.: 25001Z2)

Major Duties and Responsibilities

The appointee will be responsible for teaching courses at different levels in the following subject areas on a part-time basis (including daytime or evening on weekdays or weekends).

(A) Full-time Programmes (Higher Diploma / Diploma / Diploma of Applied Education) - Daytime Teaching on Weekdays

Basic Medical Science (e.g. Anatomy & Physiology)
Business and Management
Civil Engineering (e.g. Engineering Mathematics: Calculus, Differential Equations and Linear Algebra, 3D Building Information Modelling with Revit, Statics and Structural Analysis, Construction Technology for DAE)
Disciplinary Forces for Diploma of Applied Education (DAE)
Early Childhood Education (e.g. Curriculum, Special Education Needs, Visual Arts and Music Education, Physical Education)
English Language
Nursing (e.g. Elderly Care Nursing)
Tourism and Hospitality (e.g. Meeting, Incentive, Conference and Exhibition (MICE) Planning and Management, Food and Beverage Management, Housekeeping Management)

(B) Corporate Training Programmes - Daytime Teaching on Weekdays

Veterinary

Candidates

For (A) Full-time Programmes, candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence:

A relevant higher degree and professional qualifications in the related subject area; and
At least 5 years' relevant working experience.

Candidates with lower qualification but with substantial working experience may also be considered.

For (B) Corporate Training Programmes, candidates should possess thefollowing qualifications, experience and competence:

A degree or higher degree in the related subject area;
At least 3 years of working or teaching experience related to the subject areaprior to the advertisement closing date; and
Teaching experience with the government, public or private organizations insimilar subjects is highly preferred.

Candidates may be invited to have a teaching demonstration during the interview.

Terms and Conditions for Appointment

Successful candidates will be appointed on a temporary part-time contract.Benefits will be provided in accordance with the statutory provisions.
