Senior Administrative Officer (Office of Research & Academic Development)

Duties:

To coordinate the preparation, execution and reporting of research and other grant proposals and perform the role as editor if required
To organise and support research / post-graduate programme related activities / projects
To support post-graduate studies and the establishment of graduate school.
To assist in funded research and other project management such as financial administration
To provide support for strategic planning and other administrative tasks
To undertake committee work and other ad hoc duties

Requirements:

A recognised bachelor's degree or above
A minimum of 5 years’ working experience in the higher education sector, including at least 3 years relevant experience
Pro-active personality and ability to work both independently and as a team
Good inter-personal, communication, coordination, supervision and administration skills
Conversant with application of research grants and operation of graduate schools
A high level of language proficiency in both English and Chinese (including Putonghua)
