Officer/Assistant Officer of Marketing Communications and Public Relations Division [O/AO(MCPRD)]

Duties
The main duties of the O/AO(MCPRD) include:

(i) assisting in a broad range of pre-event logistics, on-site assistance, and post-event reporting in relation to SF&OC local events as well as international multi-sports games;
(ii) providing clerical and administrative support in managing relevant documents, processing payment and bookings, and maintaining relationships with sponsors and partners;
(iii) providing support in the design and production of promotional materials, souvenirs, as well as proofreading for assigned projects;
(iv) liaising and working closely with outsourced service providers on marketing and promotional campaigns; and
(v) performing any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

(i) A recognized university degree/diploma, preferably in communications/marketing/design or a related discipline.
(ii) Solid knowledge with Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, etc.
(iii) Good command of written and spoken Chinese and English.
(iv) Good interpersonal skills and abilities to actively contribute with a strong sense of responsibility.
(v) Be willing to work occasionally outside of the office and in irregular hours.
(vi) Relevant work experience in marketing, sponsorship, design, and/or event management; and possession of experience in sizeable and/or public organizations would be an advantage.

Remuneration
The successful candidate will be appointed on a contract basis with monthly basic salary plus gratuity equals to 5% of the total basic salary drawn during the period of contract upon satisfactory completion of the contract. Fringe benefits include MPF, medical, paid leave and employee’s insurance. The successful candidate will be offered the post at a salary subject to his background and work experience.
