The Opportunity:
Are you a dynamic dance professional with a passion for making a difference? Love 21 is seeking a dedicated Dance Teacher and Officer to lead our exciting and growing Dance Programme. This unique role combines your artistic talent for teaching with your organizational skills to create transformative experiences for our members and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Dance Instruction & Programme Leadership:

Deliver engaging, fun, and adaptive dance classes regularly to Love 21 members and their parents across various styles, including Jazz, K-Pop, Hip-Hop, and Street Dance.
Lead the end-to-end coordination of the Love 21 Dance Programme.
Liaise with and oversee a team of freelance dance coaches and instructors.
Design, implement, and continually evaluate the dance curriculum to ensure it is effective, inclusive, and meets the needs of our members.
Source and secure exciting opportunities for external performances and showcases.
Organize and lead rehearsals and manage all team arrangements for performance events.

2. Coordination & Partnership Management:

Manage dance-related events and activities in collaboration with external partners.
Support the planning, recruitment, and execution of one-off events and workshops.

3. Administrative Coordination:

Collaborate with the Team on administrative tasks.
Arrange and manage venue bookings, class schedules, and member registration processes.
Act as the primary point of contact for programme-related enquiries, providing excellent service.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date attendance records for all dance classes and activities.

4. General Support:

Provide general operational support to the Love 21 team as needed, contributing to our mission of creating an inclusive community.
▪ Provide valuable support to the Team on centre operations ad hoc assignments.

Qualifications & Experience:

Experience as a dance coach for at least 2 years.
Proven experience in teaching dance, preferably across multiple styles (Jazz, K-Pop, Hip-Hop, Street Dance).
Previous experience in programme coordination, event management, or administration is highly desirable.
Experience working with individuals with diverse abilities is a significant advantage.
Skills & Attributes:
Ability to connect with members, parents, coaches, and partners with empathy, patience, and enthusiasm.
Outstanding coordination, time-management, and administrative skills.
A self-starter who can design a class, spot a performance opportunity, and solve problems creatively.
A genuine passion for our mission and a deep commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive environment.
Fluent in English and Cantonese
