Key Responsibilities:

Provide day-to-day support for SAP FICO modules, including incident resolution, root cause analysis, and proactive monitoring to minimize downtime.
Handle change requests (CRs) by analyzing requirements, designing solutions, configuring changes in SAP FICO, and ensuring seamless implementation without impacting business operations.
Collaborate with end-users and other ITS teams (for legacy systems) to understand finance and controlling processes and deliver tailored solutions.
Collaborate with end-users, other ITS teams (for legacy systems) and external vendors to understand finance and controlling processes, deliver tailored solutions, and ensure effective vendor management for timely issue resolution and project delivery.
Perform system configurations, customizations, and enhancements in areas such as General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Profit Center Accounting (PCA), and Internal Orders.
Conduct testing (unit, integration, and user acceptance) for support tickets and CRs to ensure quality and compliance with business requirements.
Document support activities, CR processes, and solutions in knowledge bases for future reference and team training.
Participate in system upgrades, patches, and migrations related to FICO, ensuring minimal disruption.
Analyze business processes to identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements within FICO.
Provide training and guidance to end-users on FICO functionalities and best practices.
Ensure adherence to SAP best practices, regulatory compliance (e.g., SOX, IFRS), and company policies in all support and CR activities.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience as an SAP FICO Consultant, with proven expertise in support and change request management.
SAP FICO certification (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate - Financial Accounting with SAP ERP) is highly preferred.
Experience in at least one full lifecycle SAP implementation project is a plus.
Strong understanding of integration points between FICO and other SAP modules (e.g., REFX, MM, SD), is preferred but not required.
