Established in 2009, Hong Kong Green Building Council (“the Council”) is the leading body, co-founded by four major construction industry and environmental organisations, driving the market transformation towards green and sustainable buildings in Hong Kong through engagement with the industry, the government and broader community.

HKGBC is expanding its secretariat team in line with its positioning as Hong Kong's leading member-based body dedicated to green building development, with opening for the post of Project Executive I/II:

Job Description

Provide secretariat and administrative support to management and project staff of the Industry Practices and Research Department
Assist in organising various task forces and committee meetings, including preparing reports, presentation materials and minutes
Assist in planning, organising and executing various events such as conferences, campaigns, stakeholder engagements, workshops, training sessions, seminars and site visits
Support scheme operation by handling applications, responding to enquiries and preparing promotional materials
Conduct background study/ research and information gathering on green building issues to support consultancy projects
Any other duties as assigned by the supervisors

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Management, Sustainability, Building Science, Materials and Manufacturing Engineering or technology-related field
Work experience in building-related tasks will be an advantage but not necessary; more experience will be considered as Project Executive II
Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
Good command of spoken Mandarin would be an advantage
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe design software, and video editing would be an asset
A team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
Meticulous, self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility and can work under pressure
