R&D MANAGER - sensor manufacturer / application : electrical / electronic / automation / automotive / industrial (station Guangdong)

We are a leading sensor manufacturer specializing in the research, development, production, and sales of sensors for diverse applications.
Applications including: Automotive systems; Home electrical appliances; Industrial control; Office automation; Intelligent security
Our sales office is located in Hong Kong, with manufacturing facilities in Guangdong and Southeast Asia.
Our primary markets are the United States and Europe, with growing presence in Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and other emerging regions.

Position: R&D Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced R&D Manager to lead our research and development initiatives.
This role is pivotal in driving innovation and expanding our market presence.

Responsibilities

Strategic Planning: Develop and execute R&D strategies aligned with company goals.
Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of engineers and researchers to foster innovation and performance.
Product Development: Oversee the full lifecycle of product development—from concept to commercialization.
Market Research: Analyze market trends and identify opportunities, especially in Southeast Asia and the Middle East.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with production, marketing, and sales teams to ensure alignment.
Budget Oversight: Manage R&D budgets and optimize resource allocation.
Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Reporting: Present progress reports and outcomes to senior management.
Innovation Monitoring: Stay informed on industry advancements and competitor activities.
Customer Insight: Integrate customer feedback into product improvements.
Travel: Based in Guangdong with occasional travel to Southeast Asia for project oversight and team collaboration.

Ideal Candidates

Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 3 years of R&D experience, preferably in the sensor or electronics industry.
Proven track record in leading successful projects.
Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
In-depth knowledge of sensor technologies and applications.
Familiarity with market dynamics in the US, EU, SE Asia, and the Middle East.
