We strive to positively impact the communities we serve. As a key member of the Communications and Brand department, supporting the Donation Evaluation Sub-Committee, you will play a pivotal role in managing donation applications and implementations of charitable initiatives that align with the Group’s corporate values and sustainability goals, fostering meaningful change in Hong Kong and beyond.
Operations Support to Donation Evaluation Sub-Committee
- Review donation applications from NGOs, including research and analysis of the social needs, background of NGOs and the feasibility of proposed projects with related budget to ensure the projects concerned align with corporate values and directions
- Coordinate to arrange regular committee meetings, prepare donation proposals and progress reports for the Committee members
- Handle administrative and logistics work, such as donation transaction, payment and recommendation papers for the committee
Stakeholder and Project Management
- Liaise with NGO partners to enhance the submitted proposals or co-create new initiatives
- Monitor the donation budget and keep track on all approved projects to evaluate impact created
- Engage and outreach to relevant stakeholders (e.g. NGO partners, beneficiaries, government authorities, universities) to better understand the social needs and build potential long-term partnerships
- Escalate to the committee for appropriate approval in case of material changes in projects
- Coordinate with internal parties to develop publicity materials on the Group’s donation projects
- Collaborate with cross-function teams (e.g. CSR programmes / Corporate events) to coordinate on other CSR activities generated by donation projects
What we are looking for:
- University Degree in Communications, Sustainability, Business Administration or related disciplines
- 8 years’ relevant experience, preferably with exposure to NGO grant-making, industry research, philanthropy
- Prior experience in programme management preferred
- Knowledge in administration of charitable projects is an advantage
- Strong business acumen to align social impact goals with corporate strategy
- Able to to exchange complex information and may occasionally influence others
- Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in PC applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese word-processing
- Fluent communication skills in English and Cantonese
