We invite now high caliber talent to apply for Senior Quality Manager to join our rapidly growing sourcing team in Hong Kong. This position supports product development and commercialization with a fast-paced successful team.
Responsibilities.

Develop and implement strategic quality initiatives for product quality
-
Manages and enhances quality control/assurance procedures according to department, company and legal requirements

Manages project plans, monitors and reviews project progress and timelines, adjusts schedules and plans according to season and priorities, and resolves issues to ensure project success

Researches and investigates the relevant quality requirements in preparation for submissions, completing the submission process in line with company procedures

Approves Quality Assurance Certificate and makes decision on quality issues

Ensures that the relevant documents related to tender, submission, awarding of contracts and shipments are correct and complete

Manages 3rd party test houses including quarterly performance review meetings and bi-annual tenders

Manages the in-house testing evaluation process and implement any required changes and updates to procedures

Drives product quality with production facilities through a deep understanding of specific production processes and ALDI product requirements

Maintain close relationships with national/ international departments and represent Hong Kong Office in international working groups

Acts as the key person in charge to facilitate cross departmental cooperation and provides support with regard to Quality related topics

Coach and develop a team of Managers, Senior Specialists and Specialists

Manages commodity groups and adopts a strategic approach towards the continuous development of the supplier base in conjunction with the Quality Assurance, Sourcing, Buying and Compliance
Your Profile.

Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management or a relevant discipline

Minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience in a similar position, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Preferably in sourcing or buying offices, focusing on consumer products such as Small Domestic Appliances, Textile, Food products would be advantageous.

Proficient in both verbal and written business English; fluency in Mandarin is a plus

Excellent problem-solving and management skills, with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment

A dedicated team player with excellent communication skills

Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational abilities

Well-versed in MS Office applications
