Our client is a well-established international school in Hong Kong. They are looking for a Assistant Finance Manager/ Finance Manager to join their team.

Job Responsibilities:

Financial Management

Manage full-set accounting functions for designated entities
Oversee core accounting operations including bank reconciliations, monthly preparation of profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and other financial reports
Support the Finance Office in delivering financial and management reports, budgets, forecasts, and business performance analyses
Assist in handling accounts receivable and payable processes
Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies
Contribute to the preparation of statutory audit materials for year-end financial review

Treasury

Take responsibility for monthly P&L reporting and treasury-related analysis
Execute and support treasury activities including cash flow oversight, fund allocation, and banking administration
Advise senior management on liquidity planning for both short-term operations and long-term strategic needs
Forecast cash flow positions and recommend funding strategies to ensure sufficient liquidity for operational, capital, and investment requirements

Investment Reporting and Administration

Prepare regular and ad hoc reports and financial analyses on the investment portfolio using data from investment managers
Conduct quantitative evaluations of current holdings and potential investment opportunities, and present recommendations from investment managers to leadership
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to monitor portfolio performance and risk exposure, and facilitate execution of approved investment transactions
Record accounting entries related to valuation changes and investment activities

Others

Provide administrative support to the Finance Committee
Lead or assist in other business initiatives and tasks as assigned by supervisors

Requirements:

Bachelor Degree or above in Finance, Accounting or other related discipline;
Qualified CPA/ CFA holder will be an advantage;
At least 6 years of solid financial management and treasury experience; and at least 2 years at managerial position;
With experience from investment firms, investment department or treasury department of sizeable corporations is preferable but not a compulsory requirement;
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills;
Proficiency of both written and spoken English and Chinese, including Mandarin; and
A knowledgeable and experienced user of SAP would be added advantage.
