We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the School of Nursing and Health Sciences:

Major Duties and Responsibilities

The appointee shall mainly assist the research team in the research project “Knowledge Overlord - A self-sustaining AI game-based online platform to enhance students’ literacy ability and 21st century skills”. The appointee will be responsible mainly for the following:

collecting data for the research;
conducting data analysis using SPSS and Nvivo;
providing assistance in other areas related to the research project;
contributing to writing up papers for publication in peer-reviewed journals; and
help preparing and presenting findings of research activity internally and publicly.

He/she will be normally assigned to work not more than 17 hours per week.

Candidates

Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence:

a recognized Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, AI in Education, or related area;
collecting data from the partnering other stakeholders;
excellent communication skills in Chinese (including Cantonese) and English;
proficient in Python, MS Office Words, Excel, and PowerPoint;
providing assistance in other areas related to the research project;
responsible, highly motivated, and able to work independently; and
relevant research experience is preferable.

Terms and Conditions for Appointment

Successful candidates will be appointed on a temporary part-time contract. Benefits will be provided in accordance with the statutory provisions.
