The project control manager will be responsible for the development and maintenance of the project baseline schedule, cost, and performance measurement system. They will also be responsible for analyzing and forecasting project trends to identify potential issues and recommend corrective actions.

The project control manager will work closely with the project manager, project team, and other stakeholders to ensure that the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

You’ll Be Responsible For

Understand the project requirements, objectives, and deliverables to develop an effective project control plan.
Manage and monitor the execution of the project control plan to ensure that all activities are completed on time and within budget.
Identify potential risks and issues associated with the project and develop mitigation plans to address them.
Monitor and report on the progress of the project against the project baseline.
Collect and maintain accurate data on project costs, schedule, and performance.
Prepare regular reports on the status of the project for senior management.
Coordinate with other departments and functions to ensure that all project activities are properly integrated.
Ensure that all project documents are properly maintained and updated.
Participate in project reviews and audits as required.
Assist in the development of new processes and procedures related to project controls.
Train and mentor junior staff members on project control best practices.
Perform other duties as assigned.

You’ll Need Have

Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field.
18+ years of experience in project management, with 8+ years in a leadership role.
Proven track record of successful project delivery.
Working knowledge of project management software programs, including MS Project, Primavera, and Basecamp.
Strong understanding of earned value management principles.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills.

You’ll Also Have

Master’s degree in business, engineering, or related field.
PMP certification.
Experience working in a global matrix organization.
Familiarity with agile methodology.
Experience with change management principles.
