This is a regulated role under the Central Bank of Ireland’s Fitness and Probity regime.
What You’ll Be DOING
In this role, you are responsible to resolve Financial Lines and Liability claims including global program claims. Work closely with manager, fellow Claims Specialists, network partners and Shared Services Centre to drive files to resolution and interact and collaborate frequently with Practice Leaders and the Underwriting team. Manage assigned claims while setting and implementing the case strategy for these claims under the direction of the Practice Leaders and Claims management.
What will your essential responsibilities include?
- Ensure claim files are maintained in proper manner and adhere to the AXA XL Claims Specialist/ Adjuster guidelines and protocols
- Own claims files and work with AXA XL Claims Manager and Practice Leaders to develop strategies while identifying larger and more complex losses
- Proactively investigate, negotiate, and resolve claims while effectively managing relationships with brokers, clients, and relevant stakeholders
- Manage and resolve claims cost-effectively, also taken into account technical standpoint and client relationship
- Manage and support global claims handling, also maintain strong communication with network partners and producing offices
- Support Underwriting units in winning and retaining business, and participate in external marketing and business development activities to promote AXA XL Claims’ value and service proposition
- Engaged in claims initiatives as assigned from time to time, and receive mentoring and coaching from Claims Manager and Practice Leaders
You will report to the Claims Manager, P&C.
What You Will BRING
We’re looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:
- Bachelor's degree holder with direct experience in handling various classes of Financial Lines claims.
- Candidates with a legal background will have a strong advantage.
- Familiarity with liability claims handling is beneficial.
- Good customer service skills, self-motivated, and able to adapt to diverse environments and systems.
- Strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Effective communication skills in both spoken and written English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure in a multicultural environment.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
