Job Brief

We are looking for a skilled Assistant Human Resources & Administrative Officer who will assist the Human Resources & Administrative Manager in the monitoring and on-going renew of the Human Resources and Administrative operation serving the Central Office, Hong Kong Homes, Zhaoqing Helping Hand Home for the Elderly.

Responsibilities

Assist in the monitoring of all Human Resources and administrative issues relating to the Central Office and Hong Kong Homes
Handle the planning and running of the Staff Orientation Program
Handle leave administration including coordination of leave approval, update of leave record of Central office staff & unit heads and regular on the spot checking of staff leave records at Hong Kong Homes
Handle insurance issues including negotiation, renewal and implementation of insurance policies
Handle maintenance contracts, review & conduct market survey for jobholder’s negotiation and recommendation on the replacement or improvement of office equipment & security system
Assist in the planning and launching of staff functions and events such as the Chinese New Year Gathering, All Staff Meeting, etc
Handle Central Mailing System – incoming, outgoing and internal mails, including the letter from Social Welfare Department
Handle financial-related tasks such as processing invoice and receipt and drafting budgets, etc.
Maintain and update standard documentation, including filing and database administration
Perform ad-hoc duties as required

Requirements and skills

Degree holder with a minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience
A team player who is self-motivated with good organization and interpersonal skills
Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese.
Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of Human Resources is an advantage
Candidate with more experience will be considered as Human Resources & Admin Officer
Immediate available is preferable
