We are looking for talent for the position of Information Technology Officer in our team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Supporting and assisting IT Manager with hotel guests and artisans’ Information Technology related issues
Be the first line of support for hotel guests and artisans with their IT requirements
Supports the IT Manager, as and when required, to ensure the Hotel is technologically advanced and efficient with all matters relating to hospitality information technology
Proactively support hotel guests with any IT related issues within the guest rooms, function rooms or public areas within the hotel
Proactively support artisans with any IT related issues within their role and/or department
Providing the above end users with first-line support on all software and hardware installed at the hotels
Ensure the artisans are informed and trained on all newly implemented systems, changes to policies and procedures are communicated and adhered to by all artisans
Ensuring the availability of all items of stationery and consumables required for computer equipment in the hotel
Assist in maintaining all PC’s, printers, faxes, photocopiers, scanners, telephones, POS terminals, and credit card terminals and coordinate quarterly preventative maintenance
Ensure safety, security and tidiness of Computer Room
Documenting standard operating procedures, tips, tricks, troubleshooting and best practices, on hardware and software
Maintain every support call on the Company’s tracking system
Administrating and controlling the IT inventory
Establish a culture of IT awareness throughout all departments in the Hotel
To report directly to the IT Manager all matters affecting Information Technology
Comply and adhere to the company policies
Take on other tasks in addition of the ones stated, in a reasonable framework
Be a “brand ambassador” at all times and ensure brand integrity and clarity are always maintained. Model the company’s culture, vision, mission and core values at all times

Requirements:

Higher diploma graduate or above in relevant discipline
Solid knowledge of Hotel Systems and Property Management Systems
Minimum 1-year solid hands-on experience in IT maintenance and support
Experience in the hospitality industry is an advantage
Good knowledge and hands-on experience in networking / server projects
Positive, "can-do" attitude, self-starter with strong organizational skills
Strong communication, interpersonal skills and problem-solving abilities
Possess a strong sense of responsibility
Excellent organizational and time-management in project coordination
Good command of English and Chinese
Able to work at roster duties on shift
