Operation Officer (Insurance Industry)

The Job:

Responsible for operation support of daily sales, including:

Act as a coordinator between frontline channels and product providers’ operation team

Handle client application documents from 3 business lines, i.e. Insurance (General Insurance, Life Insurance and Investment Linked Insurance), Investment and MPF

Process business submissions and vetting, AML, and CDD

Update clients' database, system and documents, responsible for client file maintenance and filing

Communicate and coordinate with both internal and external parties to maintain a harmonious relationship

Handle call-in enquiry from customers, assist in after-sales services to clients, including administrative / pending / renewal /claim inquiries to enhance service level

Commission / Compensation tasks for frontline channels, including follow up with product providers on commission release and calculation on commission payment from Insurers to frontline channels

Administrative task, including licensing, preparation of regular reports and sample checking

Assist Manager / colleagues with ad-hoc tasks as assigned

The Person:

3+ years of working experience

HKCEE/ HKDSE/ Diploma or above, Pass in IIQE Licensing Examinations Papers I & III is an advantage;

Minimum 2 years of solid operation experience in insurance brokerage/IFA industry;

Familiar with life insurance / general insurance business submission process;

Administration and operation knowledge of brokerage/IFA industry;

Knowledge of insurance regulatory framework in Hong Kong;

Be well organized and able to work independently under pressure;

Detail oriented, good analytical and problem solving skills;

A good team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills;

Good command in both spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin;

Proficient in PC skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and Chinese Word Processing;

Immediate availability is highly preferred
