LABORATORY FOR ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN DESIGN LIMITED
Postdoctoral Fellow / Research Associate / Research Assistant
(Ref. No.: AiDLab/P2.2/R114-116)
[Appointment period: 36 months]
Duties
The appointee will assist the project leader in the research project – FabricFlow: AI-Integrated Textile Supply Ecosystem. This interdisciplinary project addresses the critical challenges of fragmented data, lack of traceability, and sustainability compliance in the global textile supply chain. By combining advanced AI techniques, including deep learning for fabric recognition, language models for supplier analysis, and real-time data integration, the project aims to revolutionise how fabric materials are identified, tracked, and validated across sourcing and production networks.
You will be part of a dynamic team responsible for developing the underlying AI infrastructure, integrating supply chain data, and supporting the creation of intelligent tools that promote transparency, sustainability, and efficiency in textile manufacturing and merchandising workflows.
