About The Role
As LOJEL's Luggage Repair Master you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing various types of luggage, backpacks, bags and leather accessories. This role requires exceptional craftsmanship, attention to detail, and a passion for helping customers. Additionally, the Luggage Repair Master will develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) for repair processes, prepare training materials, review new products from "design for repair" perspective and support the establishment of personalization SOPs. Leading diagnostics and repair work and collaborate with customer service, logistics, and quality control teams to ensure timely, accurate, and top-quality repairs.

Key Responsibilities
- Study and analyse effective repair methods for various luggage types to improve repair efficiency and quality.
- Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all repair-related tasks and personalization processes.
- Review new product designs to ensure they are "design for repair," providing feedback to the product development team for improvement.
- Create training programs and materials to educate staff on repair techniques, personalization, and best practices.
- Train and mentor for new & existing staffs and distributors to ensure consistent repair techniques and quality control protocols
- Provide technical support in third-party repair house auditing programs to ensure the repair service provider up to LOJEL standards and safety requirements .
- Support the development of DIY repair kits for customers to conduct repairs at home.
- Maintain an organized workspace and manage inventory of repair materials and tools.
- Diagnose structural, mechanical, and aesthetic issues using expert knowledge of materials and construction.
- Inspect, disassemble, and reassemble components including wheels, zippers, handles, frames, locks, and trolleys.

- 協助開發DIY維修工具包,讓顧客能在家中自行進行簡易修復。
- 維持工作環境整潔,並管理維修材料與工具的庫存。
- 運用專業知識診斷結構、機械及外觀問題。
- 檢查、拆解及重裝各類組件,包括輪子、拉鍊、手柄、框架、鎖具及滑輪系統。
Your Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in luggage repair or a related field (e.g. Repair shop technician, leather working, tailoring).
- Strong attention to detail, craftmanship and problem-solving skills.
- Proven experience in complex repairs on a variety of luggage models, including hard-shell, soft-shell, and smart luggage.
- Strong knowledge of luggage components, tools, and materials (polycarbonate, ABS, aluminium, nylon, leather, syntenic fabric etc.)
- Experience in developing training programs or materials is a plus.
- Ability to analyse root causes and propose technical solutions
- Comfortable reading technical schematics and handling precision tools
- Customer-centric mindset with a commitment to service excellence
- Awareness and ability to apply ESG related initiatives.
- Prior experience in sustainability related projects or in sustainable companies is an advantage.
