Primary Purpose:
The Part-Time School Psychologist will support students' mental health and well-being by providing counseling services, conducting assessments (as needed and separately funded by parents), and offering expertise and guidance to teachers in supporting a diverse range of students across the K-12 age range. The role aligns with the school’s inclusive ethos, promoting a supportive and nurturing environment for all students.
The psychologist will work closely with the school’s existing counselor, who teaches the health and well-being curriculum and provides short-term counseling interventions, to ensure a cohesive approach to supporting students’ mental health and inclusive learning needs.
Working Hours:
The role is part-time, with working hours to be determined based on the needs of the school and the availability of the ideal candidate. Flexibility is expected to accommodate periods of higher demand or specific school needs.
Qualifications and Experience:
Licensed Clinical Psychologist, Ph.D. required
5 Years’ clinical experience with specialty in children and adolescents
Key Duties and Responsibilities

Student Support:
Providing individual and group counseling sessions to support students' mental health and well-being.
Conducting assessments for learning needs, developmental concerns, or mental health challenges, as requested (with costs covered by parents).
Teacher Support:
Offering expertise and guidance to teachers on strategies for supporting a diverse range of students in their classes, across the K-12 age range.
Consulting with teachers on the delivery of High School psychology courses to ensure alignment with best practices.

Have documented experience working with young people with diverse needs in a range of different settings, showcasing their adaptability and expertise in supporting various challenges.
