Job Overview
We are looking for an IT Support Technician to provide technical assistance to hotel staff and guests. This role involves maintaining hotel systems, resolving IT issues and supporting system upgrade. Ideal for someone with basic IT knowledge , strong problem-solving skills, an a customer-focused mindset.
Job Duties
- Provide technical support to hotel staff and guests, addressing hardware, software, and network issues
- Assist in maintaining and troubleshooting hotel systems, including property management software (PMS), point-of-sale (POS) systems, and Wi-Fi networks
- Install, configure, and update hardware and software as needed
- Monitor system performance and ensure security protocols are followed
- Collaborate with various departments to resolve technology-related challenges and improve workflows
- Support IT projects, system upgrades, and implementation of new systems
Job Requirements
The Non-Negotiables (Must-Have)
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Experience in IT support, preferably in hospitality or customer-focused industries
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
The Cherries On Top (Nice-to-Have)
- Basic knowledge of networking, system administration, and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with hotel IT systems (PMS, POS, Wi-Fi management) is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented approach
