Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Software Architect. In this role, you will define the technical vision for new products and technology initiatives, evaluate emerging technologies, design modern architectural solutions, and help engineering teams transform ideas into scalable, production-ready products.

This role requires a combination of architectural expertise, strong hands-on engineering experience, and a technology-driven mindset. You will drive technology strategy, evaluate new approaches, lead Proof of Concept initiatives, and make key architectural decisions that shape the future of our products and platforms.

This is a remote role.

Responsibilities

Define and evolve the architectural vision for new products, platforms, and technology initiatives.
Research emerging technologies, conduct technical evaluations, and drive Proof of Concept initiatives.
Design scalable cloud-native, distributed, and hybrid architectures.
Establish architectural standards, best practices, and engineering guidelines.
Lead the technical design of complex enterprise and high-load systems.
Define technology stacks and architectural principles for new solutions.
Contribute to innovative solutions leveraging modern technologies, including AI/ML, Generative AI, LLM, and intelligent automation.
Identify technical risks and define mitigation strategies.
Support engineering teams in solving complex technical challenges and making key architectural decisions.
Conduct architecture reviews and technical solution assessments.
Contribute to technical strategy, product roadmaps, and long-term product evolution.
Support technology transformation and product modernization initiatives.
Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders on architecture and technology strategy topics.
Mentor technical leads and senior engineers.
Help shape engineering culture, development processes, and DevOps practices.

Qualifications

Architectural Expertise

Significant experience in software development and architecture of products, platforms, and enterprise solutions.
At least 4 years of experience as a Software Architect, Enterprise Architect, Engineering Director, or in a similar architectural role.
Proven experience designing, evolving, and scaling complex software products, platforms, or enterprise solutions.
Strong understanding of modern architectural patterns, software design principles, and distributed systems.
Proven track record of making strategic technology decisions and defining long-term architectural vision.
Experience evaluating and selecting technologies and architectural approaches based on business objectives, scalability, Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), and long-term sustainability.

Technology Leadership

Experience leading distributed engineering teams and technical initiatives.
Experience driving architectural initiatives across multiple products, platforms, or teams.
Experience collaborating with engineering, product, and business stakeholders.
Experience defining and implementing architectural standards and engineering best practices.

Platform & Cloud Architecture

Hands-on experience designing cloud-native solutions.
Expertise in at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Experience with Kubernetes and container technologies.
Experience building highly available, fault-tolerant, and scalable systems.
Practical experience with Microservices, Distributed Systems, Event-Driven Architecture, and API-First Design.

Engineering Expertise

Strong hands-on software engineering background.
Experience applying modern engineering practices, including CI/CD, automation, and DevOps.
Experience working with modern programming languages, cloud technologies, and enterprise platforms.
Experience delivering new products or platforms from concept to production.

Technology Stack

Strong practical expertise in multiple technologies within each of the following areas:

Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP
Containers & Orchestration: Kubernetes, Docker, Helm
Programming Languages: Java, C++, Python, JavaScript, Node.js
Frontend Technologies: React, Angular, or similar modern frontend frameworks
Data & Messaging Technologies: PostgreSQL, Oracle, MS SQL Server, NoSQL, Redis, Kafka, Elasticsearch
DevOps & Automation: GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar)
Observability & Monitoring: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, OpenTelemetry, or similar solutions

Nice to Have

Practical experience with AI/ML, Generative AI, LLM, RAG, or intelligent automation.
Professional certifications in architecture, cloud platforms, or software engineering.
