The Role

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Due Diligence Analyst to join our investment team in Hong Kong. This role will focus on conducting in-depth due diligence on investment opportunities, fund managers, and counterparties across public and private markets.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive operational and investment due diligence on external fund managers and direct investment opportunities
Analyse financial statements, fund structures, and performance track records
Evaluate risks across legal, operational, compliance, and reputational dimensions
Prepare detailed due diligence reports and present findings to senior investment professionals
Monitor existing investments and managers, identifying any emerging risks or concerns
Liaise with internal teams (legal, compliance, risk) and external stakeholders
Stay up to date on market trends, regulatory developments, and industry best practices

Requirements

2–5 years of relevant experience in due diligence, investment analysis, consulting, or audit (hedge fund or asset management experience preferred)
Strong financial analysis and modelling skills
Excellent attention to detail and critical thinking ability
Solid understanding of financial markets, fund structures, and investment strategies
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field (CFA or progress toward it is a plus)
