Job Duties & Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival, creating a positive first impression of the restaurant.
Manage reservations, walk‑in guests, and waitlists efficiently using the reservation system.
Coordinate table assignments and seating arrangements in collaboration with the service team to ensure smooth operations.
Answer phone calls, respond to enquiries, and handle reservations, cancellations, and special requests.
Provide accurate information about the restaurant, menu, promotions, and opening hours.
Assist in handling guest feedback, special occasions, and basic complaints in a polite and professional manner, escalating when necessary.
Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable reception area at all times.
Support front‑of‑house operations as needed during peak hours.
Adhere to company service standards, hygiene, and safety policies.

Job Requirements & Qualifications

Previous experience as a hostess, receptionist, or in a customer‑facing role within the F&B or hospitality industry is preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer‑oriented mindset.
Pleasant appearance, professional demeanor, and positive attitude.
Ability to remain calm, organized, and courteous under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
Good command of spoken English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
Basic computer skills; experience with reservation systems is a plus.
Good teamwork skills with the ability to work independently when required.
Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
